Introduction

SL2880A-E is a two-phase hybrid stepping servo driving system.lt combines the digital stepping driving thechnology with servo control technology (Current loop control,speed loop control,position loop control).with the advantages from both stepping and servo,this driver is a very usewise and pricewise controling systen.lt enables the motor to run smoothly and quietly at low speed which solves the biggest vibration and noise problem of the traditional motor.

The “NEMA 34” designation indicates the driver is suited for stepper motors with a 3.4-inch (approximately 86.36 mm) square frame, which are typically larger and more powerful. The closed-loop system uses feedback sensors to monitor the motor’s position and make real-time adjustments, improving accuracy, reducing missed steps, and minimizing heat generation. This results in smoother and more reliable operation, making it ideal for high-precision applications such as CNC machines, industrial automation, and robotics.
